We are pleased to present our Annual “2009 Black & White
Ball” hosted at the remarkable Marriott located downtown
Denver, 1701 California St. December 31, 2008. A fundraiser
to exude the awareness of Kidney disease and Kidney donation with proceeds donated to Divine
Journey Inc. Kidney Foundation. Bringing in the New Year with the ambience of elegance, with
an ensemble of live entertainment, dinner, silent auction, casino royale and a graceful lingerie
and fashion show. This event is certain to amuse your delight!
Divine Journey Inc. is a 501c3 Non-profit organization located in Denver that raises awareness of
kidney disease and donation and also sponsors kidney recipients and kidney donors after
transplant surgery. It provides emotional support, education, meals and transportation to
individuals with kidney disease requiring dialysis, currently on the transplant waiting list, and
those who are not. Kidney disease is becoming a more aggressive illness that does not
discriminate to any race, age or sex, making it a “top priority” to address in the community. The
organization gives opportunity to women and men physically and mentally capable but most of all
willing to donate their kidney, but are hesitant due to financial restraint and lack of support.
Their ultimate goal is to extend the lives of those dependant on dialysis and with kidney disease by
educating live kidney donors. This will shorten the national waiting list as well as restore hope in
individuals with a disease that handicaps the quality of life.
Our organizing committee is relying on support from our sponsors to help make this event a great
success. Proceeds from this event will go to support Divine Journey Inc and their efforts to
relieve a community of an attacking disease. Along with your sponsorship, we will recognize your
contribution on event signage, advertisements, radio and print ads and all other printed
materials. Our expectance is 300 in attendance making this event an incredible potential for
providing a wonderful community service, as well as further connecting the educational and
business communities. Any support you would be willing to offer in this endeavor would be greatly
